Mojo Friday: Traveling Wizard Edition
Fri Jul 18, 2008 at 07:29:51 AM PDT
While all the good little boys and girls are in Austin promoting Democracy and Progressive Values, I will review what I did on my summer vacation. This is my second stab at a Mojo Friday diary and I'm sure most of you are already commenting below before you got to this point...
IOW: Once you get a chance, please take a look at the diary, at least the short piece on CF. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Reminder: Please try to keep election comments to a minimum, the GOS has many places for that, no posting of pictures until 300 comments, and don't forget to recommend the diary. Thanks!!!

Mojo Friday: Dementors Edition
Fri May 30, 2008 at 07:29:05 AM PDT
Welcome to Mojo Friday, oh denizens of the deep. (Yes, I mean the Front Page denizens!)
Reminder: Please refrain from comments on the democratic candidates and don't forget to recommend the diary. Thanks!!!
A special note for best wishes from all of us to TexDem's Mom.
Come on in. Talk about the books, the weather, just about anything.
Dementor: Dementors are among the foulest creatures that walk this earth. They infest the darkest, filthiest places, they glory in decay and despair, they drain peace, hope, and happiness out of the air around them.

Will Craig Ferguson have a career after tonight?
Will Cheney?
Will Bush?

Donna Brazile's View On Super Delegates
Sun Feb 10, 2008 at 08:54:53 AM PDT
Should the Democratic National Committee change its rules before the convention?
Donna Brazile said:
"If 795 of my colleagues decide this election, I will quit the Democratic Party. I feel very strongly about this," Donna Brazile told CNN this week.
My first thought was that Brazile is just like those who say they'll vote for McCain if their candidate doesn't win. If they don't like the rules, change them. Just don't do it in the middle of an election.
The Iraq War: What are the differences?
Sat Feb 09, 2008 at 12:07:53 PM PDT
I am curious as to what either candidate will do about the war in Iraq. I've only written a few diaries (donate to Fisher House!), but throughout the campaign this question has stuck in my mind: Who would do a better job on Iraq?
As opposed to asking what they did before, I could just continue the argument saying that previous actions they took were two completely different ideas and that it doesn't matter that one was in the Senate at the time and one wasn't. That one hasn't changed her mind and that one hasn't gone out of his way to stop the funding. That one did it only for political reasons or that they did it because they were setting themselves up for a General Election and didn't want to seem weak politically. The other was just pandering to their local base to get them into the Senate... Yadda Yadda Yadda.
A Good Idea - Fisher House

Fisher House
I hadn't heard much about this group until the recent push to get people to donate frequent flyer miles, that would be matched by the participating airlines, to help injured service members and their families travel. I knew they built housing, but I didn't know they were in the travel business.

Was watching Pucker (Yes, that's what I call him) last night on The Situation. He commented about an email he received and it went:
