Bush to America: Psychologist Is Just Around The Corner (title edited)

Tue Jul 15, 2008 at 10:58:01 AM PDT

The title of this diary sums up succinctly what George 'Herbert Hoover II' Bush said today.

And John McCain ought to be mercilessly slammed for 'embracing' Bush the way he has.

Per AP, here are some wonderful nuggets from Bush this morning :

( CONTINUED BELOW )

* Bush 'urged lawmakers to quickly enact legislation to prop up mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac' while saying "I don't think the government ought to be involved in bailing out companies."'

* Bush 'called on the Democratic-run Congress to follow his example and lift a ban on offshore drilling' while saying "I readily concede it won't produce a barrel of oil tomorrow, but it will reverse the psychology."

There's the P-Word again!  McCain has used it.  Gramm used it.  Now Bush!  Hear that, America ?  You've gotten three opinions from the 'experts' - your problems are in your head.  Get Thee To A Psychiatrist !

* Bush said "I'm not an economist, but I do believe we're growing.  I'm an optimist. I believe there's a lot of positive things for the economy" while saying "it's not growing as it should."

How freakin' out of touch is this guy, in addition to mush-mouthed talking out of all sides of his grill ?  Record home foreclosures, layoffs, bank failures, weak currency, trade deficits, record gas prices, etc etc etc.
