In L.A.? Don't just contribute to Darcy--come SEE her!

As we here at DailyKos push for contributions to our Blue Majority Candidates to beef up their Q1, numbers, I wanted to let you know about an opportunity to see one of them in person at a low-dollar netroots-oriented fundraiser!

Darcy Burner, candidate in WA-08--whom I'm sure most of you know and love--will be in Los Angeles on April 9th, and would love to see as many bloggers and lurkers as she can while she's in town.

Continuing on the netroots theme, the event is being graciously hosted at the home of Rick Jacobs and Shaun Kadlec.  As many of you know, Rick Jacobs is the founder of Courage Campaign, the organization that has been so effective in promoting issues such as the censure of Dianne Feinstein for her position on FISA and telecom immunity, getting Blackwater out of San Diego County, and taking the lead on making sure all of our ballots got counted in Los Angeles County.

I'm sure you all know Darcy Burner.  She's running in WA-08 against Dave Reichert, and came a couple of points away from beating him last cycle.  We've got her back even stronger this cycle, but Reichert has had both George and Laura Bush out to fundraise for him.

Darcy Burner is one of the featured sponsors of the Responsible Plan to End the War, and is also a strong leader on stopping telecom immunity and protecting our Constitution:
